FHIR Pilot

US FHIR release readiness

Find FHIR integration blockers before your partner does.

For teams shipping into the US healthcare ecosystem: run a version-pinned FHIR, US Core or SMART preflight with the matching official Inferno test suite—or keep execution inside your environment. Get evidence, remediation priorities and a report your partner can act on.

Before the hand-off

One decision-ready preflight instead of five disconnected steps.

FHIR Pilot turns official test-suite execution into a visible scope, reproducible evidence and a ranked fix plan—without hiding skipped, unsupported or out-of-scope checks.

A scope everyone can see

Pin the FHIR version, profile, access mode and exact checks before anyone interprets a result.

Evidence with every finding

Turn a failed check into reproducible evidence, impact and the next engineering action.

A partner-ready hand-off

Share one concise readiness decision instead of raw logs, screenshots and competing interpretations.

A shared release view

Give every team the same version of the truth.

Product, engineering and partner teams see the selected scope, current evidence and exact next action before an integration hand-off becomes an escalation.

Built for focus

For the people carrying interoperability risk.

Digital-health product teams

Prepare a customer or partner hand-off with a clearer picture of integration risk.

Integration agencies

Add a focused readiness layer before delivery, without turning every project into an audit.

Interoperability leads

Make scope and results legible across product, engineering and partner teams.

Engineering leaders

Replace “we think it works” with a scoped, reviewable release decision.

Clear by design

From scope to a decision-ready report in four steps.

  1. 01

    Request the free diagnostic

Tell us the version, profile and allowed access route—no sensitive details.

  2. 02

    Confirm the exact scope

We record included, unsupported and excluded checks before execution.

  3. 03

    Review evidence and blockers

Every finding includes impact, evidence and a recommended next action.

  4. 04

    Share the hand-off decision

Download a readable report; rerun after remediation when included.

The free diagnostic is a baseline preflight. Complete suite delivery is pinned to an exact official test-kit version and confirmed prerequisites. A completed suite is evidence for the recorded scope, not certification or a guarantee of every partner environment. Read the methodology.

Two safe routes

Use the preflight model your team can approve.

Workspace mode 01

Connected sandbox

Run the confirmed preflight against an authorised non-production route. Public unauthenticated R4 endpoints are available now; credentialed connected routes pass a separate secure-access gate.

Why not run it yourself?

Open checks are useful. A release decision takes more.

Run it yourself

Raw execution

  • Choose and configure the right test kit
  • Resolve version and profile mismatches
  • Interpret skipped and unsupported checks
  • Turn logs into stakeholder communication
  • Maintain the evidence trail yourself

You can always run open-source conformance tooling directly. You pay FHIR Pilot for controlled scope, interpretation, evidence and a usable hand-off. See the published methodology and inspect the complete public report before submitting a request.

Official Inferno reference run

See all 453 results before you submit anything.

We executed the complete US Core FHIR API group from US Core Test Kit 1.1.5 against the public synthetic Inferno Reference Server. The report keeps 437 passes, 4 failures and 12 skips separate—and includes every test identifier in its downloadable appendix.

Questions before access

Clear boundaries before you request a run.

Is the first diagnostic really free?+

Yes. It covers one FHIR R4 4.0.1 public, unauthenticated, authorised non-production endpoint or one zero-access evidence review, the published reference checks, and an outcome summary. No payment details are collected.

What do we receive?+

A scoped findings summary with passed, unsupported and blocking checks; evidence; remediation priorities; and a clear hand-off recommendation.

How quickly do we get it?+

We target delivery within two business days—Monday to Friday, excluding Serbian public holidays—after written scope confirmation and a valid, authorised route. This is a target, not a guaranteed service level.

Do you need production access or PHI?+

No. Production systems and PHI are prohibited. Use an authorised non-production sandbox or run checks in your own environment and provide sanitised results.

Is this certification or a security assessment?+

No. FHIR Pilot is a focused engineering-readiness review. It is not certification, a penetration test, a legal opinion or regulatory approval.

Can you run a complete US Core or SMART Inferno suite?+

Yes. A complete version-pinned official Inferno suite is available when the matching test kit and its prerequisites are confirmed. It can run against an authorised non-production route or through the zero-access model when credentials must stay with your team. This is an engineering preflight, not certification.

What exactly is included in the $99 launch rate?+

One supported, pre-confirmed official suite against one non-production endpoint/environment, one automated execution and one standard downloadable report. Multiple suites or endpoints, custom/private authentication setup, bespoke implementation guides, manual evidence conversion and workshops are quoted separately before work starts.

Is FHIR Pilot only for the US market?+

The launch focus is the United States: teams preparing integrations for the US healthcare ecosystem, especially US Core and SMART App Launch. The customer team may be located anywhere. Baseline FHIR and other implementation guides are considered only by confirmed scope, so we do not present the current offer as universal global coverage.

What happens if our version or profile is outside the free scope?+

We confirm the matching test kit and prerequisites before execution. R4B, R5 and other implementation guides are accepted only where a suitable version-pinned suite is available; unsupported or not-executed checks remain visible in the report.

Can we run the open-source checks ourselves?+

Yes. FHIR Pilot adds scope control, interpretation, evidence normalization, remediation priorities and a stakeholder-ready report.

Do we need a call?+

Usually not. The intake, scope confirmation and report are asynchronous. We suggest a call only if the scope cannot be resolved in writing.

Built for control

A review boundary your security team can understand.

Authorised test routes only. Production systems and PHI stay outside the workflow.

Credentials stay controlled. Use the zero-access route when a connected secure-access gate is not approved.

Scope remains visible. Unsupported and excluded checks are not hidden behind a score.
